Award winning AP art portfolio now at library
The AP(advanced placement) art portfolio of Brianna Hall is now hanging at the
Rangeley Public Library. This work was awarded a scholastic Gold Key in this years regional competition. Her AP graphic portfolio also won Gold Key.
Brianna is a senior at RLRS and is accepted to American University in Wash DC next fall. She plans to study International business.
Anne Walker is the current artist showing at the Local Artist Gallery at the Rangeley Public Library. Anne is a long time Rangeley resident and fiber artist. Her collection is a challenge set by her Augusta based quilt group. They were given a word like “Reflection” or “Radiate” and asked to create a quilted piece which reflects that word.
Anne’s work is very imaginative and precisely done. The group makes a lovely show seen together. Try to get in to the library to see it. The show will hang until mid March.
The Local Artist Gallery is a joint project of the RFA and the RPL.
