“Self-Publishing for Maine Authors” Workshop at the Rangeley Public Library on August 25th

RANGELEY — Popular workshop “Self-Publishing for Maine Authors” will return to the Rangeley Public Library on Saturday, August 25th from 10:30 to 12:00.  A representative of Maine Authors Publishing, along with a local author who has recently gone through the self-publishing process, will be here to share information with aspiring authors.

Oquossoc Day arrives on Saturday, August 18th

A CIRCUS IN   AUGUST…that’s the theme for the annual OQUOSSOC DAY Celebration and Potluck   Dinner/Dance, a day of fun for everyone. Music from the Lake on August 16th

Rangeley Friends of the Arts has coordinated a joint venture with The Oquossoc Lady and Loon Lodge to bring two different music groups to Rangeley.  Ragged Jack is an American Roots Rockabilly Trio; with powerful vocals, unique instrumentation, and astounding stage energy!

Oquossoc Day Potluck Dinner & Dance on August 18th

The Oquossoc Day potluck dinner and dance will be held at Oquossoc Marine on Saturday, August 18th 5pm – 9-pm. This year’s event will be fund raising for a “new” bed for the EMT room at the Fire Station and to stock the food pantry at the undercroft at the Episcopal Church.
