THANKSGIVING SERVICE SET AT REEDS MILL CHURCH

MADRID – Reeds Mill Church will again hold a special worship service at 10:00 AM Thanksgiving morning.  The Rev. David W. Smith, pastor of the Wilton Congregational Church, will lead us.  Reeds Mill Church remains as it was when built – a one room rural church situated down a dirt road 5 miles off Route 4 in Madrid.  With no electricity, original kerosene lamps light the sanctuary.  With no furnace, a wood stove with the longest stovepipe run in all the county keeps the congregation warm. Come to the church in the wildwood to truly honor the reason we celebrate this holiday. For directions or more information go to www.reedsmillchurch.org or call 639-2713.
