Graveside services for Danny L. Scriber are June 4

A graveside service for Danny L. Scribner, of Phillips, who passed away on November 20, 2021, will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1 pm, at the New Eustis Cemetery in Eustis, Maine. Rev. Micah Bickford of Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church will conduct the service. FARMINGTON – Theresa I. Robbins, of Farmington, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of March 9, 2022. Theresa was born to Angelo Cirillo and Glenys (Collins) Boutilier on June 25, 1939 in Rangeley.

OQUOSSOC – Susan Koob, 66, of Oquossoc, passed gracefully, Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at her winter home in Stuart, Fla. with her family at her side following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Connecticut, Susan moved with her family to Camp Antlers in Oquossoc as a young girl

Tyler Michael Thorndike, 29

PHILLIPS – On Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, Tyler Michael Thorndike passed away at his residence in Phillips at the age of 29. A known joker and comical character, it was no surprise to see him with the biggest smile on his face. He was always happy to be around his friends and family and everyone that knows him knows just how talented he was at making people smile and feel better, regardless of their situation

Bertrand Lambert (1936 – 2022)

PHILLIPS – Bertrand Lambert passed away at his home in his sleep the morning of January 7, 2022. He was 85. On Oct. 16, 1936, Bert was born in Rumford, to Alyre and Irene Lambert. The way he would tell the story to his grandchildren, his birth put an end to the Great Flood of 1936

Janet Waugaman Hammond (1959-2022)

DALLAS PLANTATION – Janet Waugaman, loving wife and devoted mother, died peacefully at her home in the Rangeley area on Wednesday, Jan. 5, surrounded by her family. Janet passed after a courageous battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy, a fast-progressing form of Parkinsonism. She was an extremely strong, courageous, and brave woman.

Leora M. Churchill (1939 – 2021 )

NEW VINEYARD – Leora M. Churchill passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 82. She was born on July 25, 1939 in East Madrid, Maine, to Victor and Shirley McLaughlin. Leora attended schools in Phillips and graduated from Phillips High School in June of 1958.

Cecil Kendall (1929-2021)

CHESTERVILLE – Cecil Kendall, 91, of Chesterville, passed peacefully at his home on December 11, 2021. He was born in Farmington on December 18, 1929. Cecil grew up in West Farmington and attended Farmington schools and UMF. On May 25, 1950, he married his beloved wife Ann. Together they raised 6 children while living in Starks and Farmington.
