Moose Survival Study topic from July Monthly Meeting

Post 509 of 2832

On Thursday, July 20, 2017, the RRG&SA will hold its monthly membership meeting at our clubhouse on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc. Our potluck supper starts at 5:30 PM. The business meeting this month will include election of officers and board members. Lee Kantar, Maine’s moose biologist, will present the four year findings of the ongoing Moose Survival Study. Lee last visited RRG&SA four years ago, after the first 30 moose were fitted with GPS collars. At the present time, DIFW is now following more than 100 collared moose. The information from this ongoing study should be of great interest to our membership. The public is always welcomed to attend our potluck suppers and educational programs.
