The Sky Program presented by Gerry Adams on Tuesday night August 7th was awesome. He pointed out constellations, told about the Perseid meteor shower as we watched a meteor whiz by every three to four minutes, saw satellites going over, and looked at Mars in the Telescope. It was a great night for viewing the night sky. And as always Gerry shared his wealth of knowledge of the night sky. He did tell us to concentrate on one area of the sky when watching meteor showers rather than trying to look at the entire sky. You will see more showers.
We look forward to another program with Gerry on the second Monday of September at dusk.
