Can you tell me if Haines Landing is a public boat launch or is it owned by Haines Marina ?

I am hoping to launch canoes there and park two cars for a couple days.

Thank you for any help. Gwen

It is listed under “Public Boat Launches” on Maine.gov

My family is a long time PT resident of Birches Beach Rd on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. We sold our “Donald Duck” boat a few years back and now have a fishing boat (can’t ski behind it). This week I am entertaining two families with kids and would love to tube behind a waterskiing boat but find the regular cost of a rental a tad steep. If there’s anyone on the lake that would consider renting theirs for a day this week and a day next week or a combination of days we’d love it. We are responsible and would return all things in better than found state. Maybe a good way to make a few bucks for someone. Call (603) 609-8149. Thanks Annie (Altemus) Davis
