BANGOR – A New Vineyard man that fatally shot an intruder two-and-a-half years ago at a Rangeley residence was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison on drug and firearm charges in U.S. District Court yesterday. Jordan Richard, 26 of New Vineyard, had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, a Class C felony, and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to and in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, a Class A felony.
