Springtime at Mingo Springs Golf Course
Two public golf courses are located in the Rangeley Lakes Region. Several other courses, including the top ranked Sugarloaf Golf Club in Carrabassett Valley, are located within an hour of the region.
Rangeley’s challenging and scenic 18 hole course, Mingo Springs, is located off Route 4 between Rangeley and Oquossoc, and is perched on a hill overlooking Saddleback Mountain and Rangeley Lake. From the 11th tee one can enjoy panoramic views of Rangeley and Mooselookmeguntic Lakes. Deer, fox, moose, and other wildlife are typical sights along the wide fairways which graciously allow the novice golfer some margin for error. The course offers season memberships, a driving range, putting green, clinics and private lessons, rental clubs and golf carts, club storage, snack bar with indoor and outdoor seating, and a fully stocked pro shop. Leagues play regularly at the course and tournaments are held throughout the summer. Mingo Springs is open from May through October, conditions and weather permitting.
Evergreen Golf Course, is located on Dallas Hill Road and offers golfers 9 holes, group and private lessons from a PGA member with over 25 years experience, golf cart rentals, a driving range, practice area, putting green, and custom fitted golf club sales. The course is open during the summer.
