Youth Camps in the Rangeley Lakes Region

RRGSA Fishing Pond

The Junior Guides program offers fishing intruction at the RRGSA pond.

The The Rangeley Lakes Region offers numerous summer recreational activities for children and youth who are visiting or permanent residents.

The Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust runs weekly ECO-Venture programs throughout July and August. It is recommended that you enroll as early as possible to ensure a spot for your child. For more information please call 207-864-7311.

The Junior Guides Program sponsored by the Rangeley Region Guides’ & Sportsmen’s Association offers recreation opportunities for boys and girls ages 9 through 14. You also need to enroll early for this 6 week program which begins in early July. Experienced instructors will lead the programs specializing in outdoor sports and recreational activities. The Town of Rangeley Department of Parks and Recreation also offers a wide array of sports and recreational actiities. Activities include youth tennis clinics, golf lessons, soccer, softball, T-ball, swimming lessons, baskeball, fly-casting lessons, kayaking, hiking, and much more. I am wanting to visit in July and looking for a camp for my seven year old boy. He loves the outdoors. Is there a day camp for a week?
