The Rangeley Lakes Region offers tennis courts free of charge to both residents and visitors alike. The courts are maintained by the Town of Rangeley Recreation Department and are conveniently located at the Lakeside Park (off Main Street/Route 4) in Rangeley Village and the Oquossoc Park (corner of Rte. 4 & Franklin Street) in Oquossoc Village.
There is no sign-up arrangement for court time at these facilities. Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please use the courts only for a reasonable amount of time if other players are waiting their turn. Tennis racket rentals are available at the Chamber of Commerce building at Lakeside Park for $1 per hour per racket. Tennis lessons are offered each summer through the The Rangeley Recreation Department. A tennis league plays matches on a regular schedule during the summer months and welcomes new members. Hello! I am wondering if you might have some information about joining the summer tennis league? My son David is 18 years old and we will be in the area for the summer. He plays on his high school varsity team and would love to meet up with people in the area to play.
Thank you!
