Tennis Courts & Leagues in the Rangeley Area

The Rangeley Lakes Region offers tennis courts free of charge to both residents and visitors alike. The courts are maintained by the Town of Rangeley Recreation Department and are conveniently located at the Lakeside Park (off Main Street/Route 4) in Rangeley Village and the Oquossoc Park (corner of Rte. 4 & Franklin Street) in Oquossoc Village.

There is no sign-up arrangement for court time at these facilities. Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please use the courts only for a reasonable amount of time if other players are waiting their turn. Tennis racket rentals are available at the Chamber of Commerce building at Lakeside Park for $1 per hour per racket. Tennis lessons are offered each summer through the The Rangeley Recreation Department. A tennis league plays matches on a regular schedule during the summer months and welcomes new members. For additional information about the tennis league please call the Rangeley Town Office at 207-864-3326.  Private lessons for all ages are available starting in June.  Contact Martin Wilson at 207-864-3429 for additional information.

Also, a limited number of vacation rentals also offer tennis courts for use by their guests.

Hello! I am wondering if you might have some information about joining the summer tennis league? My son David is 18 years old and we will be in the area for the summer. He plays on his high school varsity team and would love to meet up with people in the area to play.
Thank you!
