RRG&SA Outdoor Sporting Heritage Day slated for August 7th

On Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 10am to 3pm, the Rangeley Region Guides’ and Sportsmen’s Association will host Outdoor Sporting Heritage Day at their clubhouse on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc.

This year”s theme is “Fishing”. Please join the club in the celebration of this outdoor sporting tradition. The event will feature fly and spin casting instruction, fly tying instruction, an entomology seminar, fun casting contests and vendors selling fishing equipment and accessories as well as outdoor related items.

Schedule of Events

10 am -11 am:  Fly tying instruction on the porch, Spin casting instruction on the pond

11 am – 12 noon: Fly tying instruction on the porch, Spin casting instruction on the pond, Fly casting instruction on the pond, Entomology seminar in Guide Club House

12 noon – 1 pm: Fun casting competition on the pond, Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks available

1 pm – 2 pm: Fly tying instruction on the porch, Spin casting instruction on the pond, Fly casting instruction on the pond, Entomology seminar in Guide Club House

2 pm – 3 pm: Fly tying instruction on the porch, Spin casting instruction on the pond, Fly casting instruction on the pond
