KINGFIELD MAINE — January 29, 2019 — The Ski Museum of Maine is having its largest fundraiser the John Christie Heritage Classic on Saturday, February 16th at the Sugarloaf Inn. Formerly known as the Heritage Classic Auction, this newly named and organized event will include a silent auction from noon to 4:45pm, a Historical/Entertainment program – “Early Sugarloaf Nightlife”, followed by a live auction at 5:30pm.
The entertainment program will be emceed by local celebrity Kip Files, with a panel of local museum members to recollect the days of the Red Stallion and the other establishments from the early days of Sugarloaf.Items for these auctions include Volkl skis with Marker bindings, First tracks skiing for 10 (midweek) with breakfast at 45 North, framed vintage ski posters, snowshoes, silver jewelry, gift cards to local establishments, food items and more.
