Snowmobiler killed after crashing into tree; another injured in Phillips
FARMINGTON – A 50-year-old New Jersey man was killed after his snowmobile crashed into a tree off the Holley Road on Sunday morning. Richard Keith Horton of Delran, N.J. was snowmobiling with two friends when his machine struck a tree on the edge of the trail at about 11 a.m. Sunday

Rangeley World Record Charity Snowmobile Ride to be held on February 9th
Rangeley World Record Charity Snowmobile Ride to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. On February 9th at 1:00pm a world record attempt for the most snowmobiles on a 30 mile ride will assemble at Oquossoc Marine in Oquossoc Maine.
Reciprocal Snowmobile Weekend in Maine set for January 25, 26, and 27, 2013
In accordance with Title 12, Section 13104, Subsection 15, the Commissioner has selected the weekend of January 25, 26, and 27, 2013 to be the Reciprocal Snowmobile Weekend in Maine. This has also been confirmed as the reciprocal weekend in New Hampshire and Vermont.
